Overtuned is a festival and new music ensemble created by Alexey Logunov, Jee Won Kim and Christopher Herz, and guided by its mission to dissolve barriers between musical worlds, Overtuned Fest exhibits the creative potential that emerges when experimental contemporary classical music intersects with rock music. Its inaugural 2026 program included newly commissioned works, new pieces by composers selected through a Call for Scores for rock band and chamber orchestra, collaboration with visual artists, and a reimagining of Schubert’s Winterreise, alongside outreach initiatives designed to inspire young musicians in MCCSC schools.
